Keith Huffman

Rector

Father Keith serves as the rector of Church of the Resurrection. He was ordained a Deacon in the Anglican Church in 2011 and a Priest in 2012. Prior to pastoring, Keith worked as a businessman and contractor. Keith has a B.S. in the History of Ideas and Biblical Studies and a Masters of Divinity in Advanced Biblical Studies and Biblical Languages from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

 

Keith lives on his grandparents’ farm in rural Lewisville with his wife Dana and children Keira and Luke Samuel. His primary hobby is working on and around the homestead: gardening, blacksmithing, building things, fishing, and shooting, but he also maintains a wide reading interest in classical works, theology, current cultural matters, and the Church Fathers.

Jim Reed

Deacon for Worship and Pastoral Care

Deacon Jim Reed serves as Pastor of Worship and Pastoral Care at Church of the Resurrection. Ordained to the Diaconate in the Anglican Church in 2008, Jim worked in youth ministry for 15 years and as a worship pastor for the past 22 years. In 2018 Jim began leading worship part time and working full time as Director of Facilities for Sterling Spaces, LLC.

 

Jim lives with his wife, Michelle, in Winston-Salem, has three grown daughters (Lea Bentley, Caroline, and Anna Walker), and three grandchildren. Jim loves working in his yard, wood work, listening to Mike Rowe podcasts and (according to his wife) watching movies he's seen one hundred times before.

Dana Huffman

Children's Ministry Director

Dana Huffman is a dedicated Children's Ministry Director at the Church of the Resurrection, where she brings a wealth of experience and passion for nurturing young minds in faith. As a Level Two  trained catechists in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, Dana is committed to providing a spiritually enriching environment for children to grow in their understanding of the Christian faith.

Beyond her role in ministry, Dana is a devoted homeschooling mom, instilling values of education and faith in her own children. As a homemaker, she creates a warm and welcoming environment for all. In her free time, Dana finds joy in hospitality, tending to her gardens, and caring for her beloved chickens. Her love for animals extends to her dreams of expanding her farm to include more furry friends.

​Fr Stephen Linkous

Priest In Charge

While Father Keith is out on Sabbatical, The Reverend Fr Stephen Linkous will be leading services at Church of the Resurrection.

 

Fr. Stephen grew up in the mountains of Southwest Virginia and has lived in Forsyth County, North Carolina since 2008. He graduated from the Virginia Military Institute (B.A.) in 2004 and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (M.Div) in 2014. Currently residing in Lewisville, he and his wife, Dr. Michelle Linkous, are the parents of Carson (13), Eliana (10), and Jack (6). They have 4 dogs and 2 horses. While Stephen’s primary hobby is woodworking, they are an active family involved in sports, horseback riding, and music.

In 2012, Fr. Stephen was ordained as a deacon, then in 2012 as a priest. He is canonically resident with the Jurisdiction of the Armed Forces and Chaplaincy in the Anglican Church in North America. Within the Jurisdiction, he serves as Canon to the Suffragan, working alongside Bishop Mark Nordstrom, and was recently appointed to the Constitution and Canons Committee.

Fr. Stephen has served as a chaplain in the United States Air Force Reserve since 2012, currently assigned to the 916th Air Refueling Wing at Seymour-Johnson Air Force Base as the Deputy Wing Chaplain. He is responsible for providing for the free exercise of religion, the spiritual fitness of the wing, and advising leaders on religious, moral, and ethical matters.  Additionally, he provides  pastoral care and counseling, spiritual support, and expertise on religious/spiritual matters.  In his civilian vocation he serves as a chaplain with Novant Forsyth Medical Center and surrounding Novant affiliated hospitals.
